Michael,

As I have been saying for a while, Moore's law went on overdrive recently not from technological advances but rather unrealistic attempts by certain CPU, memory and box manufacturers to lose money on each sale and make up for it in volume. Once it is back to the 4th gear, from then on I am sure it is going to hold again and ASPs will drop. But it seems that presently the trend is on a downshift, even though it apparently violates Moore's law. Which, when things are put in prespective, is not the case.
