Thanks Donna! Its not that we turn in early here, you just have to know where to go after 10pm!! I have a bunch of surfer friends who do the dawn patrol most days (4am or so) then have breakfast, some go to school while the others go to jobs or lay on the beach. You described some beautiful places alright. I live about 10 minutes south of Carlsbad in a condo 128 steps above the beach. Not the largest of spaces, but the view is stunning year around (panoramic ocean view) and I get to see the surf whenever I want (looking out now) and hit the beach whenever I want. The life for me. Not too crazy about the "city"! Jane at the beach
