Rvgent, I think the rivalry between Cpq and Dell got out of hand. Most companies view each other as competitors...not on a personal basis. Of course, there are always exceptions.

Many have said this about Larry Ellison's obsession with MSFT, which I think has been equally bad for Oracle. But Scott McNealy is equally obsessed, and none the less Sun is doing well.
