Just read Gary Craft's report. It should be illegal to promote a stock (Princeton Telecom) IPO, when the Analyst is involved with that IPO. Basically, Gary pumps up Princeton Telecom at the expense of CheckFree. In the report, Gary has one page with the title (in bold), "FAT CLIENT MODEL USING CHECKFREE SERVICE IS BROKE...", on the next page the title (in bold), "THIN CLIENT PRINCETON TELECOM MODEL DOES WORK...".

Of course, Gary does mention that CheckFree is moving to a thin client, but makes it sound as if CheckFree is trying to catch up to Princeton Telecom. The good news is that Gary's words don't mean much anymore, you can only be wrong so many times before people stop trusting in you.

Benny(IMHO...I just had to get that off my chest).

I too am a Bank One customer and I am looking forward to receiving my MCI bill on line next month. (Who would have ever thought I'd be glad to get a bill?) I'll let y'all know how it goes…

Big Al, you're right that a lot more billers need to join the fun here, but equally important is that Bank One and all the other banks/portals/etc. that are planning to eventually present bills have to adhere to the KISS principle (Keep it Simple, Stupid). At present, Bank One's website needs a lot of improvement, in my opinion. They have to design this process for the unsophisticated. They need to follow AOL's model…lots of pictures and directions.

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for the time being, since we're just getting started. Someone on this thread commented a while back that we are in the unique position to perhaps be able to influence the early development of EBPP. I plan to give Bank One an earful about what I like and dislike, constructively, of course, in hopes of helping mold this EBPP stuff into something wonderful.

That is, if I can find someone at Bank One that knows anything at all about online banking. So far, not so good. Earlier this week I had to call Checkfree with a billing question because no one at Bank One could answer it. If Bank One truly wants EBPP to be successful, they will have to train more of their employees to support it.

I am excited to finally see online billing on my computer screen, but we still have a long ways to go to see it flourish.

My good-for-nothing opinion (MGFNO),
Mr. Mo
