Bid.Com,Partner To Hold Live Streaming Video Auction Tuesday TORONTO (Dow Jones)--Bid.Com International Inc. (BIDS) and American Interactive Media Inc. (AIME) said that, on April 27, they will hold the Internet's first live streaming video and audio auction, broadcast by RealNetworks Inc.'s (RNWK) Real Broadcast Network in RealAudio and RealVideo. In a news release, Bid.Com and American Interactive said the auction is the first programming event to spring from their joint-venture pact signed in January. They noted that Bid.Com is contributing its declining-price, or Dutch, auction format and technology and American Interactive is contributing its creative, marketing and production capabilities. Bid.Com's patented Dutch auction format reduces prices from a set starting price until the lot of goods is completely sold out, they noted. Bid.Com is an online auction company.
