Larry,

Thanks for saying this. I might add that this select "plugged in" few have been wrong, wrong, wrong over and over again. Yet they persist in blasting anyone who disagrees or points out the fallacies in their arguments.

I particularly like the one about how "Lucent took what it could get" in acquiring ASND. Yeah, it just pulled out its wallet and blew 20B on a second choice, wallflower company with inferior technology. Puuhleeaaase!!!

Clay.

Larry --

IF you've followed my debates with MrFun from the LU thread late last fall, you'll know we've developed a give-and-take that recognizes each other's bias. I have a lot of respect for his comments and whenever my comments sting, I know he'll come back with a good response.

Consider us cross-town rivals not out for blood as much as a good game.

Tellabs and Lucent both came out with good reports. What's good for one, is good for all. Like I said to MrFun, it's a huge market and there's room for more than one leader.

My position in NN is not taken blindly. Far from it.

Regards,

Pat
