I've used Earthlink for about 5 years...very early customer...

They have very high satisfaction ratings and great customer service. I have never had a problem even worth mentioning and I have used them all over the country. I imagine though, depending on your location, some regions are likely to be more reliable than others.

Take advantage of their customer service, find out ALL the POPS for your area, and use the ones that are the most reliable/fastest.

It usually acts up once or twice a week, usually when the market gets active. Will come back after an hour or so. Don't know if all of this is just localized. I live in princeton, nj...no jokes please.

Heard ATT Worldcom is bullet proof in this respect.

Hope this helps.
