O.T. earthlink,

yes, what paul is saying. He is right on.
I've had problems with earthlink going 'down',
but never been unable to fix it by changing access
numbers, in a minute or two.

They have a lot of access numbers, which is good. But
for some reason I've seen 'em disconnect one number with
little or no warning (which was the one I got most reliable access
via ISDN.) Then a month later reconnect it, and the one
I've used in the interim seemed not as good, so I switched
back.

Therefore I keep track of the access numbers and move between
the best ones. Some are better than others.

Saves a lot of headaches! And I feel sorry for those who don't
take advantage of all the access numbers and/or experiment with
them. As the saying goes "more than one way to skin a rabbit."
For a trader, this could be important to you.

good luck, :-)

Waldeen
