All you hardware experts out there, I need some assistance please.

I currently have a 200MMX Pentium with 32 meg RAM (16MB edo dram), Orchid Righteous 3D board, Diamond Stealth with 4MB, MBAsus Triton motherboard, and Ensoniq AudioPCI. I'm looking to upgrade my PC to something that will handle the latest games without setting me back an arm and a leg. I probably want AGP to take advantage of the newest AGP based 3D cards.

Can someone please give me advice about what components to use and what I will need to swap out. I don't need the latest and greatest 500 mhz chip, but will a much cheaper 400 mhz chip do the trick? Can I keep my current RAM and add another 32 meg or will I have to swap out to a new 64 meg RAM chipset? How much do you think this upgrade will cost?

I'm figuring in the price of a new motherboard, new CPU, more RAM, new 3d card, possibly new sound card. I may opt to buy some of this stuff (probably sound card, 3d card) on the used market. Oh, and maybe the cost of a techie to put this stuff in if I can't figure out how:) Funny, I'm in the high tech field and used to be very up on PCs, now I have not got the time to keep abreast of the latest developments.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, including a favorite source to buy this stuff.

Thanks,
Hal
