Baz: There very well may be more downside. My point was that the stock's not gonna go anywhere any time soon, so how are you going to make any more money on CPQ given that scenario??? How much more downside do you think it has? The average MINIMUM base is 4 to 8 weeks - CPQ is in week 2 of this one. Do you want to wait around that long for a couple of points?? What if it breaks to the upside? Then you've really wasted your time. Time is money!

I have no ideas for CEO candidates - I wouldn't have a clue.

all of the candidates they are considering as CEO are really not "wonders".
we really have no idea what candidates CPQ may be considering - all we have is speculation in the press based on a simplistic analysis of well known names in the industry. CPQ is in a position to make an attractive offer to anyone - an opportunity to take a strong, well positioned market leader to the next level, which happens to be leadership of the industry. I can't think of any executive worth his salt who wouldn't at least give that serious consideration.
