Hi Margaret,

I am also very happy that Intel seem to be re-gaining some of our lost ground. I'm not terribly worried about AMD's new chip. I know it has a few features that Intel doesn't, but there is still the perception that they are 2nd rate. I know around here we gave up long ago on using non-Intel chips. We go through quite a few PC's too. We resell them with our systems and have 100's of laptops and desktops around too. The other thing that I think about when we get all these bells and whistles on the chips is weather or not the average user is really going to use them. I know Paul Engle and I had a nice conversation when MMX first came out. Yes, he is a nice guy, if your nice to him. There was very little software that actually took advantage of the new features. I know they have been talking about it quite a bit on the 'main' Intel thread so you may want to poke around there and see what they are saying.

I missed CNBC yesterday during the day and haven't had much time in the evening either. ;-) I know we all discussed buying Go2net when they purchased SI. I guess we should just quit talking and start buying. <GGGG> But like Eliz2 says, so many stocks so little money, or something to that affect.

Ashley's finger is getting better and she is learning to adapt. At least she didn't break her arm, like I did at that age.

I'll yack at ya later!!

Take Care

Ann
