I hope Jim Seymore is wrong in this instance, but he is one of the industry experts that Michael originally called to Round Rock to advise him on how to grow the company, according to "Direct from Dell", so I would not dismiss him out of hand. I suspect that he may be right about the PC industry, but that Michael will successfully transform Dell such that it is no longer primarily a PC box maker. I've read that Jim's current main interest is broadband and wireless communications, and recent statements by Michael about the power of broadband internet access indicate he may still be listening to Jim's advice. Lets suspend judgement until we see what Jim says next quarter. Ken
