Based on what ? Price wise, valuation should be half what it should be based on historical numbers (46 PE vs. 20PE historically). The extra valuation in this stock is directly related to a myth that Sun is an internet stock.

Remember Sun is a hardware company. UNIX workstation market is all but dried up due to price/performance competition from PC's. UNIX Server market will be under serious attack from 4/8-WAY x86 boxes running Linux ; file server, print server, web server, and even database server. It doesn't make sense anymore to buy proprietary iron when you can buy x86 and run a choice of operating systems; NT or UNIX.

I think this stock is in for a serious reality check this year.
