Mary,

But our stock is still down from when Das Booted Pfeiffer made his phoney and
deceitful excuse about market conditions. I'm still angry.

Did you see that interview with Blowhardt (TM McMannis and Gimelli) where he said the board of directors should hang their heads in shame for getting rid of him? Talk about a sore loser.

>>>The resulting 50 percent increase in PC revenue along with assurances from
Dell Computer Corp. and Hewlett-Packard Co. helped calm jitters about the
industry.<<<

Gateway steps up to the plate next in a couple minutes. I hope they touch'em all like IBM did.

Pfeiffer, I believe, purposely lied to the media and to his own Board of Directors concerning Compaq's PC business problems, to hide his own screw ups.

The media, of course, BELIEVED HIM along with MOST of the analysts.

My hat is off to Ben Rosen for spotting the lies and deceit from Pfeiffer and for taking IMMEDIATE and SWIFT ACTION and kicking his ASS out of Compaq.

I expect Pfeiffer to be nominated for a seat on AMD's board of directors in the next year or so.
