INTEL VALIDATES SAMSUNG RDRAMS

APR 22, 1999, M2 Communications - Samsung Electronics Co Ltd says that
its 72M and 144M Rambus DRAMs (Dynamic Random Access Memory), or
RDRAMs, have been tested by Intel and proven to be compliant with
Intel's specifications, making Samsung the first company in the
industry to receive such validation. Samsung, which began mass
production of the 72M and 144M RDRAMs in January, now plans to increase
its production capacity of 128M and 144M RDRAMs to 5m/month during the
second half of the year.
