As long as Oil and base metals are moving there is little chance that XAU/Gold will burn-out...(crash)
XAU 79 next week?

Thanks Hutch for the link on the rumor.

Hey, how come everytime the XAU goes up it's "just" short covering?
Do you have a vested interest in keeping the XAU down? <G>

RE:"Actually the XAU is more likely moving under short covering. And less to due with
GOLD. And will soon burn out."

Now Hutch, you said the XAU was going up this week and down next week.
Could you at least let it get to your max, 73.50, pretty please? <G>

Hutch I hope you know who comes back with a new attitude..things have gotten a lot more friendly lately at least in cyberspace..
I think you are right..we are currently at a critical juncture..everything appears to be moving in spikes rather than orderly..(unless I am projecting :-) )
I thought the Dow would get just past 11,000 and last week I thought I was way wrong..I wonder if there are some index players out there..
I haven't seen IBM ever fly like this..you are right..they are noted for their "bookkeeping" I think and nobody cares
Also I wonder at what rate in interest rates..does it start competing with gold..I am hoping at least not under eight percent..definitely not under six percent
