NCES announces net income for the three months ended March 31, 1999 of $2.6 million or $.09 per share on a diluted basis -- $.01 above consensus and nobody has boo to say here.

Come on guys, it's pretty bad when the lurkers on this thread feel compelled to comment on earnings announcements :).

No surprise the street is neglecting the stock, what with NOV's plans to sell its stake. (The YAHOO thread is active with buyout rumours.)

However, I don't think NOV would sell below $10, particularly since it is no longer under the guy debt-wise (having just sold a major division).

I do believe that a NOV sale will be concluded by the end of the year. This stock is undervalued now, and a fairly safe bet for a 100% return by the end of the year.

Anyone studied the numbers?
