Probably my last post ever on this thread ;-). I finally sold last week at 24 and change... pretty depressing. I wanted to wait a while to come over here before posting.

My MSDW broker said that CPQ is a great company, but a lousy stock. My wife, who knows squat about the market, sniffed a rat with the Valentine's day "warning" followed by the early April "real warning" followed by the CEO resignation. Got out, moved on.

(below this line is OFF-TOPIC)

Anyway, as an aside, I'm a graduate student working on research into search engines. If any of you ever use Altavista or Hotbot, could you please check out cs.umd.edu ? All my web site does is run queries on altavista and/or hotbot, strip out the ads, and give you the same hits you would get... I'm looking at search engine usage trends to see if I can find a way to measure user satifaction with the hitlists... I'm only going to keep this up for a couple of weeks (and I don't think I'll steal much ad revenue from CPQ :-) ).

What would help me the most is if you went to my site, bookmarked it, and the next time (or several dozen times) you have to run a query, use my site. Note that I do not log your query terms or the URL's you visit... I log things like "CLICKED-ON HIT 15" and such. I describe the research goals and how I'm handling privacy issues on the site.

Thanks, and best of luck to the remaining CPQ longs...
