I heard that they had compressed the meeting to just 1 day. It had been scheduled as a three day event. I wouldn't compare that to a sporting event. Should every organization that had pre-scheduled business in Denver, cancel their meetings?

I can understand the sports teams cancelling a game,,

after all, this is family entertainment and it was on the night of the murders.Should they postpone tonight's game? The next 5 games? Two weeks? When does it end?

I don't know the date of the N.R.A. show, but the people they attract (over 21),never on T.V.,95% men,is quite different. If you are upset about the murders, don't go.

Should we stop selling black Trench coats and Cargo Pants because of their "involvement"?

It is worth considering that the NRA is in a tight bind on this. On the one hand, they don't want to suggest disrespect for the victims of Littleton - and their friends and families.
On the other hand they are wise to reject the sort of insinuated guilt by association concealed within the outcry to cancel an already planned convention. The NRA despises violence; that is a matter of record.
