The Company's management team is comprised of individuals with substantial real estate development and construction background. The President of the Company is a dynamic, entrepreneurial individual who, despite the downturn of real estate business in Southern California, has been successful in various business ventures that he has undertaken. The Company's Consultant CFO is a former Big 6 CPA and is a logical, financial-minded planner who has excelled at each position he has held and possesses real estate, construction and securities experience. The Company's Vice President of Development is an excellent builder and construction executive with over 25 years of construction and home building experience. The Company retains an administrative consultant who is an accountant and administrator with diversified business, real estate and public service experience. The mix in personality and experience gives the Company a good balance within its management. The management works with a "team" concept, discussing Company issues on a daily basis. Collectively, Peacock's management team has over 84 years of real estate and construction experience.
MANAGEMENT
President - Mr. Steven R. Peacock
Mr. Peacock, 52, is the founder and President of Peacock Financial Corporation. He has over 22 years of real estate development, property management and construction experience. Mr. Peacock's vision, creative mind and direction has provided the Company with diversity and strength to survive the last 5 years of real estate recession in Southern California and has timely positioned the Company to take advantage of the next upturn in the market which, according to most economists, is about to happen in Southern California.
Chief Financial Officer (Consultant) - Mr. Bruce Merati
Mr. Merati, 40, was added to the Company's management team in late 1996. He has over 17 years of diversified experience in accounting and finance. He is a graduate of The London School of Economics, a Chartered Accountant in England, a CPA in California with 17 years of experience, with 7 years of Big 6 experience. Additionally, he has 10 years of CFO/Controllership experience of private and public companies in real estate/construction and securities/financial services industries. Mr. Merati also holds a California real estate broker's license and NASD series 7/24 and 62 licenses.
Vice President of Development - Mr. James S. Upton
Jim Upton, 48, has over 25 years of construction industry experience in all aspects of residential construction and land development. Mr. Upton has been directly involved in completing various projects, including many single-family residential developments. Mr. Upton also has extensive experience in processing final maps and working with city staff, civil and soils engineers, as well as sales and marketing teams.
Administrative and Government Relations (Consultant) - Joy M. Hunt
Joy M. Hunt, 47, has 25 years of experience in various areas of accounting, business and government. After several years as controller for a construction company in Montana, she moved to California where she served three years as a department manager for a mid-size CPA firm in the Coachella Valley. In 1984 she established her own consulting company and was a special contract consultant to several cities, major corporations and to Riverside County. She joined the Palm Springs City Council in 1992, and in 1994 was appointed District Director for the 44th Congressional District where she set up and managed four congressional field office locations and necessary staff.
