Mccowaner, I want to re-emphasize this point. Bid.com drew some attention due to the fact that they were going to list on the Nasdaq. The brokerage firms and TSE took a GOOD look at them and Bid.com received buy upgrades and inclusion into the TSE 300, the very first Internet stock to accomplish this in Canada. A very commendable start for a company about to compete with other Nasdaq Internet stocks. The Nasdaq takes the second worse tumble in its history and the following day Bid.com lists on the Nasdaq. Suddenly, there is a sell off by Canadians who were skeptical about the Nasdaq's tumble and unsure as to how this Internet company would do. As I said, light years behind the U.S. when it comes to the Internet. ALthough, NOTHING about this company has changed, and All fundamentals that the brokerage firms and TSE loved before are still exactly the same, bid.com now receives a stream of negative Canadian press and downgrades by two Canadian brokerage firms. There is no reasonable explanation. The company now has to fight off negative press from the Canadians press and brokerage houses. Not exactly a sweet send off to the U.S. Nasdaq. Since NOTHING has changed and this company is plowing forward full force with all of its plans, why wouldn't anyone want to be in on this stock, which is very cheap in comparison to other US INTERNET COMPANIES. The CEO has not let us down with any of his future projections and plans. He has come through with everything promised. I believe that when the US investors are fully aware of this stock, and the future revenue of Bid.com's Declining Auction Patent they will be buying in groves and most likely coverage by a US brokerage house will be initiated. I gather this from watching the interview with the CEO on CNBC and listening to a press release by the President of Bid.com. Speaking of that CNBC appearance, this CEO deserves respect and credit for making an appearance on CNBC on the first day of his Internet company's trading on the Nasdaq, after the other Internet stocks went through a major blood bath the day before. I give him credit for his vision in taking this company forward. I certainly don't think he deserves the negativity he has received from his homeland, Canada.
