Regards the action on Wednesday,I don't know-but for today,I do believe it is very likely it was shorts covering,which basically is showing they are capitulating,like you say all these daytrading shorts go by is they see a stock up like ASTN,then look at the EPS,and they think they have a play,and remain otherwise clueless about the company.
NITE has proven to be a shorters graveyard for quite sometime,and I hope it shall overtime work that way for ASTN.Max
