What's an FPGA? Also, I would assume that if you're designing some kind of specialized circuit using chips from one of the major chip guys like TI, you'd use the Rambus ASIC Cell (RAC) that has been predesigned and can be dropped easily into your design (according to a friend who designs ASICs). Is that incorrect?
