Joe, AstraZeneca FYI FWIW Info from AstraZeneca: Although the merger has occurred from a legal point of view, from an operational point of view, the integration work has only just begun. [[This is no big news]] Despite difficulties engendered by integrative activities, the extant launch plans should be unchanged by the merger. AstraZeneca regard it as being of top priority not to lose momentum in the marketing of Muse. [[This had been impressed on me before and gives lie to the hypothesis that Astra were lukewarm about Muse or delaying to put pressure on Vivus…….well the support for Muse in the new Astra web site does not look lukewarm to me]] Launch plans will not be disclosed beforehand. [[Well maybe I do not have US style persuasive skills!]] Going forward in time the old Astra (Sweden) should be the preferred source of information about launches/marketing of Muse/Bondil at least for the foreseeable future. [[I think this stands to reason given that Astra had the muse expertise]] A gamma minus I know, but I'll keep trying. DaiS

MK's suggestion, The webmistress, Jill Munden <jill@go2net.com> says that if Frostman agrees and if we send her an updated Banner message there is no problem making the changes. So we could have summary information in the Banner with links to external sites or to posts within the thread. For example info on alibra could placed within a message eg 23000 and linked to from the banner. Weeks later if there is new Alibra info 23000 could be revised and reposted eg 24200 and Jill will change the banner link. Personally I think this would be excellent for use in argument on the thread and to prospective investors. I think that as Vivus is a US company one of you could be in charge, for example someone who presently spends a lot of time posting might sacrifice a little of this time to organise. We can all criticise and make contributions of course.
