I also had problems yesterday. Even today, server downloads seem to be quite slow, when updating charts, sometimes just not able to see the server at all. I've only been using this system for about a week, but it's almost time to cancel my free 2 week trial, if this happens just once more.

Hi Dr!!

I have had IQC for over a year and I have been using the real time feed for 6 months.

I emailed them re: this latest problem and A guy (Gary Busby)jbusby@iqc.com I think sys ops responded back. he said this latest glitch was due to their ISP. I really like IQC but it is really the pits if I am in the middle of a trade and the system freezes. Of course we could always get a Bridge machine... Lots of money. I network with Judy on the East Coast and she is trying AB Watley. I have no doubt that they will eventually get this fixed but are being hurt by it now.

Gary suggested that it is all really complex and that using streaming data, in a query / respond mode like this is very challenging. There are other systems like WOW and Metastock that have very robust tools for TA trading but none are as user friendly as IQC. I have no doubt that in a year that it will be much more powerful and reliable but that doesn't help us now.

Email Gary Busby if anyone has any problems..

Regards
