***WILLIAM BROTHERSON UPDATE** Thursday, April 22, 1999 5:30 CST <gg> (I'm getting good at that aren't I? <g>) Just talked TO BILL** and manomanomanoman does he ever sound good. I'm thinking this is just a hoax. He sounded better than he did last week when I talked to him at home! This is one amazing "young man" I'm talking about here! Actually, he said he had cut way back on the pain meds, and is doing "Great"! He said Denise had read some of his messages to him the other day, but he hasn't had her read any today. BUT!!! If all goes as planned, he's going to be making a personal, guest appearance tomorrow, right here on this very thread! I told him that I wouldn't give a timeframe, because I figured DGIV would become an SI hot spot with people checking in all day. It might be just a hello, goodbye thing (YEAH RIGHT!!!!), but I told him that seeing his name, logged on from HIS account would be enough to make everyone happy! Ok, I asked him what he wanted me to tell you...and here goes! "Well, they told me I could have a shower tonight, and I want it so bad I can't see straight." (The bath y'all! <g>) Only thing is, they warned him to NOT stand directly under the shower. DUH! <gg> He said "no problem"!! He went out for a walk today and during his walked befriended a lady who's husband was having surgery today. He danced a little jig for her to reassure her it would be all right. He said "I told her I had had the same surgery 3 days ago"! (I can see him puffing up now!) Anyway, he is being our special Bill...giving comfort and reassurances to those that need it. He said that he is "starting to get frisky again". (I told him I was gonna post that, and he just laughed. Heh heh!) Anyway, he tentatively can go home tomorrow, but he may stay till Saturday. The 4 hour ride home isn't very comforting sounding to him. He said he's like to stay a couple extra days, just not at the hospital. I told him to check into the Marriott Suites. He said, "hummm...doable"! <gg> OH...one more thing...he said to tell everyone thanks for all the well wishes, prayers and kind words. He says he couldn't have done it without all of you. :-) Ok, let's see...recap: All wires out of his heart because they say he isn't gonna need a pacemaker. He is still on oxygen but it is turned way down. He is up and about. He's making friends. {{{Bill}}} He's frisky and on the full road to recovery!!!! GUEST APPEARANCE TOMORROW IF AT ALL POSSIBLE! <G> Ok, back to your regularly scheduled program. AS IF! Take Care, y'all!
