So Bill Gates has to open his wallet and pull out a little pocket change to add to comcast's bid. I think 1 dollar more than T would be enough:

OK 10% (8.6 billion premium to comcast's offer according to Armstrong's offer letter to Lillis) may be a bit more than pocket change, but he could trump T's offer and still be a very rich man even if his investment went to zero (which isn't going to happen).
