That being said, the interface has shown its broad appeal primarily because of its simplicity. Its MacIntosh-like qualities give users an unintimidating comfort zone that that overcome any perception of limitations. Its proven to be very powerful in not only gaining but retaining customers. I actually think that it is some of these very same elements of a user friendly experience that makes MindSpring a great ISP. However, both will have to solve the broadband issue or they will not be able to gain or retain customers.
