beginning to realize that there is more to this than
just REW and Marty telling things...

TSIG.COM is the front line.....and that is where the fault and responsiblity lies ("where the buck stops," if you will) for any screwups! Afterall, the public doesn't know about the behind the scenes operations.....they just think in their own minds THE COMPANY SCREWED UP!!! That's alllll the public thinks.
So it IS the responsibility of TSIG to make sure the system is running smoothly and offer the public compensation (maybe free shipping or something) when there is a royal screwup.
The customer remembers the "service" they get from the Company, much longer IMO than the value they got from the deal. And, people still worry about shopping over the internet, a good company will assure the public thruout the buying and shipping process that his/her order is proceeding securly and ontime. When I order from a company such as Amazon, I get e-mail updates about my order all along the way....they even send an e-mail when the product has been shipped and give me an estimated time of arrival. Customer hand holding is much appreciated and well rewarded by customer loyalty along the way.
