Mohan, EMachines and MicroWorkz must have been a great threat to GTW if it's consumer business has been the strongest in years. ;-) IMO this points to a hierarchy in the consumer space. Those who can cherry pick opportunities will continue to do well even there and contrary to what the contrarians say, a smart company doesn't need to crowd the lowest of the low end swampland. OTOH, IBM's corporate business has been good. Put these two experiences together and the picture that emerges seems to indicate to me that DELL's target customer segment is providing extremely healthy demand. All that is left for DELL is to execute. :-) -BGR.
