WAKE UP! I'm back! ANd my son, looking thoroughly self-righteous and indignant, has informed me that I left the water on in the pool and it overflowed and was running down to the creek, but that HE has now turned it off and where's dinner. I forgot I turned it on this morning early- there goes a 100.00 water bill. I can't do everything, damn it, I said. (A poor defense, I realize, but I had so little time to prepare)
