Mark, Have been with Brown over 10 years, I know the ups and downs. Using their system fits most of my needs and you can't beat the comish. In trading the OSX sector especially on the NYSE where you can get a decent representation of size on the bid and ask for 10 bucks you can trade up to 5k shares, I do ok there. Its just when trading fast movers either on the NYSE or NAZ that timing is more critical. I have looked at some of the other trading platforms and decided that they aren't for me, just not the way I trade now. I will be going to open an account with Yamner for the level of service that they can provide to me in these fast type situations. I am trying to set up a solution that will enable me to act upon any type of trade at the least cost, but best execution for that type of play. I can't get a cable modem in my area, so the next step to increase bandwidth will be to find out about ISDN service. My ultimate goal is to have the redundancy in place to trade any type of play at any time. It will be an interesting project. Thanks for the BEAM analysis, its on my watchlist for entry.
