Questions, questions....

Where should the new CEO take WIND? What strategies will be necessary to win in the future? Should the new CEO point WIND in the same directions that Abelman took? Should the new CEO steer WIND away from MSFT's embedded market space lest it awaken the monster? What new vertical markets can WIND pursue and steer clear of a head-on collision with MSFT?

#####

It is unclear what role Ron Abelman actually plays during the interim. According to the press release, he steps down June 24th. But, in the same release, it is mentioned that founder, Jerry Fiddler, will take over in the interim. Does that mean after June 24th if they don't find a new CEO? If not, when?

By his own admission, Jerry Fiddler is not CEO material. In the meantime, Ron Abelman is somewhat of a lame duck. Given the breakneck nature of this business, between now and June 24th is a lot of time for things to go wrong.

Any answers?
