SPRINT CORP plans to sell a nearly 3% stake in AMERICA ONLINE INC
worth $4 billion at current market prices, an AOL spokesman said Thursday. In a
filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, America Online disclosed that
Sprint's Sprint Communications Co. LP unit planned to sell 28.8 million AOL
