I really don't know why you are so excited about this report. First, FORE is not immune to Y2K. Second, the last rumor buyout was around 25. The premium is not juicy at all. If FORE could have delievered an ASND-like report, the buyout price will be much more higher.
ERICY has their own problem, TLAB still can remember CIEN. FORE is not a internet stock. It has a good but not great growth rate. Since it sometimes disappointed shareholders, it doesn't deserve a premium as CSCO's.
JMO

BTW, Tim Luke won't be around to hype it tomorrow. A big minus for longs.

Hi Trevor--I gotta tell you the truth, this is a tough one to get a handle on. If it were simply a matter of technology I'd say go for it, however if it were simply a matter of technology we'd all be drivin Tuckers, usin Apples and there is no way Bill Gates would be makin 4.25 million bucks a minute based on offshoots of MS-DOS (which the guy paid 50 k for the right to back when IBM decided they had to get in the PC biz). There are times when certain stocks come knockin at the back door, slap you and say buy me you idiot--I think Etec is one of those now, my last big slap came from asyt under $10.00 about 4 months ago (which I think is still a great buy under 15, for the next 6 mo).
Fore I think is tough, what I do believe is that this trading range is not sustainable--that either they get taken out at a much higher price or trade far below where they are today--and that's my bet I make out below 20 or above 25 between now and July. My bias is to the upside--we stay where we are today and I won't even have a decent life jacket to my name. Good luck--Regards PF
