As I mentioned on the value thread, I bought in to this co in the 27's yesterday. Just a solid long-term play IMO, in a Buffett, boring, profitable kind of way. Solid ROE, and a co with the type of business economics you would expect to stick around a while. Like today's report.

All I can say is this is one terrific company. All the bashing they've taken over the last few years and they still perform.

Once again the skeptics have been proven wrong.

Hi G, Here's a place to check the monthly short interest, but I don't know of a place to find anything more current.

I was fortunate to be able to add 25% to my APCC holding (still quite small, but growing) a few days ago at $27-5/8. That tapped my reserves for this stock and emptied them.

Good volume and your dreaded "gap up" seem to be here today.
