Darren--- I don't blame them for wanting guns--- I would too if my Government was so amoured of gun's abilities---- Living up here in the white north , it has crossed my mind how much the US is more like a South American country then Canada--- You know,, with their coup d'etats and military importance--assasinations , etc.. Quite Primitive if you ask me----:-) I just remember feeling that once when I was there--- The Ghettos , and inner citys--- something similar to SA countries-- I know it sounds crazy, but I really sensed it. Exciting yes , free ? I dunno-- but definitely there--- The US needs more snow--- <g>

DArren Allow me to ask you(again). WOuld you ban butane, propane tanks, pipes, nails, glass bottles, metal containers in your zeal to contain violence? All of the above were used by these two teens. They were bent on KILLING. If they didn't have access to guns they would have used bombs or other devices of mass destruction. TImothy MCVeigh was bent on killing too. He used a far more efficient way of killing--massive amounts of fertilizer! Now should we have a "fertilizer monitoring task force". Or the home depot clerk should ask me for ID, take my address in triplicate and do an instacheck with FBI everytime I go to buy nails, or some metal pipes? Ridiculous! OTOH I Don't agree with people all set to ban Marilyn Manson. He is a symptom, NOT THE DISEASE!
