I saw this same thing last week on one I played. The market makers couldn't shake any shares or else the shorts were so busy selling after hours that it gapped down. But if enough volume buying comes in then this strategy won't work! I think they bank on enough panic selling to be generated that they can cover their shorts.

Leslie, that was on Nas Level II. If it opens up today, what occurred in the aftermarket yesterday is criminal. You could buy the stock at 20 but had to sell it at 15 and change - and let me tell you, there were a great deal of individuals who sold at 15 and change - I'd say virtually 90% were sellers at the lower prices.

From now on, I'll post my RRRR comments on the appropriate thread. Sorry for the mistake.
