Good news indeed. It opens two scenarios: a high powered CEO comes or somebody tries to buy WIND - and there would certainly be a bidding war.

BTW: Windows CE is bloatware and only suited for higher memory, multipurpose gadgets. A barebones RTOS cuts far better for a wider product range and can be limited to the tasks at hand. The less software/controller demand, the cheaper the hardware can be sourced. And in products under $50 such things count for manufacturers. WIND is the leader.
