Rosie O'Donnell to Host Chicago Premiere Thu, Apr 22, 99 08:59:22 AM CST Ann Becker pointed us to a Press Release from Rosie O'Donnell's 'For All Kids Foundation' which says that Rosie herself will be hosting the Episode 1 charity premiere in Chicago. "It's very generous of George Lucas to give us this opportunity to host the Chicago charity premiere," said Rosie O'Donnell. "George has his own foundation -- The George Lucas Educational Foundation, which produces media about schools and technology -- so I'm not surprised he's offered these benefit screenings to children's charities across the country. It really shows where his heart is." After two busy weeks taping The Rosie O'Donnell Show at Universal Studios in Florida, Rosie plans to fly to Chicago with friends for the charity premiere and party. "I can't wait to see this movie. I'm a big fan of Star Wars and George Lucas." Of course, May is Star Wars month on Rosie's show. She plans to have something Star Wars on every day.
