Sorry I'm late in getting back to you - had to walk the dogs, etc.
Yes, he did say that. I think we all should, but in a calm, respectful manner.

Off topic:

Reporters are supposed to report the news not distort facts because of their own biased views.

How do you figure??

News coverage is directed and produced by individuals who are tasked with building ratings. Now of course, they wish to maintain the aura of credibility, but in the end it is about advertiser revenue.

As for Ted David, I give him credit for maintaining objectivity. As for Haines, I don't mind him being confrontational/skeptical, if that is his chosen style. I just want him to maintain that attitude for every CEO that he interviews (interrogates?).

Mr. David was a busy man yesterday, having to read Carolyn's PM's and my public ones over on Techride.

Eventually, the audience will win in this CNBC/Bloomberg/FNN/FoxBusinessNews contest. If Haines continues to alienate his audience through what many seem to perceive as selective interrogation of CEO's, the investors that that audience represents will discount his opinion and render it moot. And that will give more appreciation to the other services.

Financial reporting is a commodity.... just like the web portals they so deride.
