I have a dumb question...

If Sprint is selling 450,000 shares hedged so they only make $100 million, then Sprint obviously made a 4.1 billion dollar mistake. Now, my question is....

Who hedged them? Someone is going to buy 4.2 billion in shares for only $144 million. (It very well could be AOL themselves...which means they can tuck away 4.1 billion in additional shares. That's a $4.1 billion windfall...for someone)
