Steve, The main reason right now is high premiums. I actually bought IIX puts last spring/summer and made good money with them. But the premiums have jumped tremendously since then. I just see more return for the risk in other issues.

Steve, I think if everyone stopped buying puts and shorting these stocks, they might actually come down. No more squeezes. But alas the squeeze cycle continues, with no end in sight.
