Davis don't use the word Titanic when referring to Intel. Oh well, maybe Intel will change the meaning of Titanic back to 'unsinkable'!

It is the chief engine of the info revolution, including the internet, they just don't know it yet

They start to realize they are. Current vision (from insiders) is that by 2005 max, CPUs will be less than 50% of the revenues. By then Intel will be seen as a telecommunication company, with CPUs being just an enabling product among others.
Why do you think Barrett in person went all the way to Finland to meet the Nokia folks? For a couple flash products? ;-) Or why shiva or Level 1?
