how do you think the t buying media one will affect aol,,,this is a very positive announcement for athm,,i think the best play right now is to own them both as i believe that some people will abandon aol for speed the only problem with athm right now is availability but this purchase makes huge difference towards that objective,,aol still has the brand name and market share and broadband is still atleast 2 to 3 years away from a real subscrber base but as people start to abandon aol for speed so will shareholders ,,aol really needs to position themselves into cable broadband,,today's announcement by t was a big affirmation as to the future of the net ,,basically t is betting the farm on cable broadband,,,,,aol needs to position itself for this transformation and forget about isdl and it's overpriced inferior technology,,they atleast need to truly address this issue and stop running to the gov't for help because this is a sign of weakness,,,
