Milestone Payments - A lot of Biomira holders have speculated about Chiron milestone payments, but neither Chiron nor Biomira would discuss this. The agreement clearly indicates milsestone payments. One nice thing about this is it will generate news and revenue at an unexpected time. It is possible the first milestone payment will occur when phase 3 theratope completes their enrollment. Finally, I found some confirmation from Yorkton: Report by YORKTON SECURITIES INC. (CANADA). Milestone payments - Biomira has stated that the payments related to regulatory milestones are within industry norms. the identity of the individual milestones and the potential payment for each milestone is usually not revealed. The total potential value of these milestone payments was not stated but we expect it to be in excess of US$40 million in total. Nice to know this. Biomira's current cash is around 50 million, more than enough to complete phase 3 and start making some $$$. Another 40 million would be very very nice....:-) SM
