HLIT,ENTU,GALT..NEON

HLIT, ENTU, GALT. rather new intermediate holds continue to do well. nice volume, institutional buys as well. (although GALT was cited as an intermediate hold, the large run up of over 25% since entry might move me to sell and take a profit)

NEON.. tothe person who wanted to hold NEON through earnings note it was down 10 today. I had 2 very good trades on NEON before earnings came out but did not dare hold through earnings. POWI I did not dare to hold and probably should have but I did get a few points out of that this week and will be watching it for eventual intermediate hold.

Although NEON is a good company its volatility was almost predictable... On the other hand ISSX which I did hold through earnings DID NOT give that many trades before and only recently (1-2 days before earnings, check recent watch lists) began to show anticipation. Therefore I decided ISSX was the better choice. OF course all is not roses, and SWS although slightly gapped up this morning did not provide me an exit until it was down 1 5/8 but the moment I saw the trend I fled.. Holding through earnings has its risks and you must be prepared to cope with them and adjust accordingly.

ABOV ------ very bullish on this stock

growing customers 10% per month !

>>What ABOV is building is a central site for international and US ISPs to dial into the internet. An efficient internet. Essentially, ABOV will be able to boast to future and current content providers that they have ISPs bringing in websurfers from all over the globe. Thus, if you want your site accessed by some 500(or 6 billion) million people instead of the limited number accessing EXDS, then come with us. Do you see? EXDS has content sites. Great. Who is accessing those sites? ABOV is signing deals with ISPs to bring in customers, and the rest will take care of itself. It is much more important to be sending customers to the store than to be stocking the shelves and hoping people come in. Do you see?

ABOV is creating a network where the entire world will be able to access the internet, an internet that is efficient, through its sites, and this is what is the future, not "farms" of data.<<
(taken from Mr. Miller - the guru on the ABOV thread)

ABOV - conferance call highlights

- taken from yahoo

Accomplishments:
1. Customers grew from 382 to 458 this quarter (20%)
CUSTOMERS ARE GROWING 10% per month !!!!!! And they have never lost a customer.
2 Grew Peering from 182 to 257 (40%) They emphasized
that no other co-lo is even close to their numbers and their
percentage growth. The Best attact the best.
3. Increased bandwidth to 10.5 gig
4. Sales //marketing: team expanded to 25%
Emphasized that ISP that are hooked to ABOV actually do a lot
of "free" advertising for ABOV because the ISP's like to say
they are connected to the cleanest bandwidth - ABOV.
5. Europe: Discussed all the Regional ISSX expansions
6. Revenues from International business growing 10-15% MONTHLY
7. Relationship with Loral: very important for those countries which do not have fiber in the ground.
8. Once again, ABOV is in a "quiet period" and could not
make any forward looking statements, per their attorney and
SEC regulations.

The analysts were impressed by the sound of their voices in congratulating them of a great quarter.
Particularly about 10% growth in customers per month and where
they are getting their revenues: 33% come from rentals "co-lo"
and 67% come from the sell of the cleanest bandwidth money can buy.

This is a stock of the future. ..... back bone of the world internet.

"Dig We Must for Growing New York"... How many of you were irritated by signs such as this in anytown, USA where you grew up and live... I have often sat in classrooms in my Parochial school in Midtown Manhattan hearing the drilling and have actually begun to vibrate myself at the noise. But the result was spectacular - the area of New York City where I grew up is now gorgeous, well maintained, world class and infinitely superior than when our cooperative when public and my dad decided to buy. The real estate value quadrupled in 4 years after the "dig".

Anyhow Market Gems is a bit in a growing stage here and it does not have to do so much with the growing our customer base as it does with deciding of late to become a One Stop Shop for Traders, so our digging can irritate at times.

If our negotiations are completely fruitful, newbies will learn to trade effortlessly with our new 'internet partners' for a fraction of the cost on other 'hand holding sites' You have a right to hand holding, and if things go well you will get it. In our zest to give more and more features sometimes there are problems and they are always the same.. The nature of the creature called "the internet' is imperfect. It involves the symbiosis of many entities into a working whole, and the "Server" is the heart of this whole.

You have all been remarkable in your support and enthusiasm through everything, and when the HiWay server goes down, I feel like screaming myself but there is not much I can do. That is the reason we e-mail the watch lists to everyone. And I understand when it is not on the site the next day.

To be perfectly honest, I fell asleep frustrated at 5:00 a.m. after not being able to save the list on the website, but happy I at least got the earnings calendar up. In the morning we had 'brownouts' of the server and even the website.. but alls well that ends well and here I am about to save yet another watch list to the website...

This month has been so much fun and we couldn't have done it without this terrific thread which truthfully has a pulse beyond any leadership on my part. Market Gems is very well remunerated for its efforts, but we will never be smug and self-satisfied and not give anyone the personal attention they deserve. So kudos again to our regulars who I could not be without at this juncture as I've grown dependent on their trading acumen, generosity, wisdom, humility, sense of humor, etc.
