"Dig We Must for Growing New York"... How many of you were irritated by signs such as this in anytown, USA where you grew up and live... I have often sat in classrooms in my Parochial school in Midtown Manhattan hearing the drilling and have actually begun to vibrate myself at the noise. But the result was spectacular - the area of New York City where I grew up is now gorgeous, well maintained, world class and infinitely superior than when our cooperative when public and my dad decided to buy. The real estate value quadrupled in 4 years after the "dig". Anyhow Market Gems is a bit in a growing stage here and it does not have to do so much with the growing our customer base as it does with deciding of late to become a One Stop Shop for Traders , so our digging can irritate at times. If our negotiations are completely fruitful, newbies will learn to trade effortlessly with our new 'internet partners' for a fraction of the cost on other 'hand holding sites' You have a right to hand holding, and if things go well you will get it. In our zest to give more and more features sometimes there are problems and they are always the same.. The nature of the creature called "the internet' is imperfect. It involves the symbiosis of many entities into a working whole, and the "Server" is the heart of this whole. You have all been remarkable in your support and enthusiasm through everything, and when the HiWay server goes down, I feel like screaming myself but there is not much I can do. That is the reason we e-mail the watch lists to everyone. And I understand when it is not on the site the next day. To be perfectly honest, I fell asleep frustrated at 5:00 a.m. after not being able to save the list on the website, but happy I at least got the earnings calendar up. In the morning we had 'brownouts' of the server and even the website.. but alls well that ends well and here I am about to save yet another watch list to the website... This month has been so much fun and we couldn't have done it without this terrific thread which truthfully has a pulse beyond any leadership on my part. Market Gems is very well remunerated for its efforts, but we will never be smug and self-satisfied and not give anyone the personal attention they deserve. So kudos again to our regulars who I could not be without at this juncture as I've grown dependent on their trading acumen, generosity, wisdom, humility, sense of humor, etc.
