Tony, Re:"One of the articles I read about it said Intel would not actually be building hardware for the physical layer."

Tony, do you remember which article? Thanks, Amy J

Tony, >>>Actually, I've had experience with some seemingly "class", big companies that were real ----heads to work with. I think what you may also be implying is that Intel's present day computer type customers are a lot different from what they'll be dealing with in the new venture.<<<

You are the only one that can perhaps explain this to us. I don't have a clue and I don't think anyone else around here (SI) know anything about what these server farms are suppose to be (but this will not stop them from making pronouncements and judgements about them either).

What do you think these things are? Are they IP data centers? Besides customers who have search engines like Excite, who are some of the other customers likely to be and what will Intel be doing for them?

For instance, are you guys (at your company) likely to outsource some of your activities to this type of business?

Appreciate it if you could tell us more about this.

Regards,

Mary
