------- Bogus e-mail virus warnings -------

I receive several of these a week, just like the one Joe posted.

According to an article from this month's TechNet (Microsoft), current technology does not allow a virus to be passed on by opening e-mail message. YOU HAVE TO OPEN THE ATTACHMENT! As you try to open it, it will ask you if you want to enable the macros. If you answer YES, that is when you get the virus.

So if you receive e-mail from unknown source, you can read it and delete it without a worry.

I hope this helps.
