Mr. Lothar Maier, identified in Cypress's 1998 proxy statement as the firm's Vice President Worldwide Wafer Manufacturing, became Linear Technology's Chief Operating Officer. Linear Technology issued a press release on Monday, April 26, 1999. Linear's press release stated that Mr. Maier had been with Cypress since 1983 to 1999, and was identified in that release as Cypress's Senior Vice President and Executive Vice President of Worldwide Operations. Even though Mr. Maier was identified in Cypress's 1998 proxy statement, I could not find his name in the 1998 annual report.

Good luck everyone!

Alan,

Speaking of the 'broom', I have some money freed up selling NSM and am thinking of CY which is still trading within range. If I believed CY would go over range I would consider taking a position, if excited I might close out my NSM position, NSM was sure nice from 9 to 20, maybe I can do it again with CY. Or is the broom, always a broom?

John

Alan,

So, how exactly do I cook those lobsters? I might be needing that information.
